About
Christen J. Yassin, LCSW-C
A licensed clinical social worker with 18 years of experience in therapy and counseling for children and families, working with clients from age 3 to 78 through divorce, family conflict, narcissistic abuse, and the realities of parenting an autistic child.

Why Centered exists
This started in college, with a love for helping people and a curiosity about why people do what they do that never went away. Centered opened in 2021, after a personal experience made the difference between coping and staying in your own center impossible to ignore.
The practice is built around one idea: creating pathways for people who are looking for something different, so they can live the life they actually want. Everyone gets the chance to thrive here, and everyone is welcomed exactly as they are.
Christen is also working toward publishing children's books, using bibliotherapy to reach mental and behavioral health through story.
Peace
A judgment-free room. You are welcomed and accepted exactly as you are, with no version of yourself to perform.
Balance
Personal, professional, physical, mental and spiritual self-care treated as one picture rather than separate projects.
Wellness
A holistic approach to therapy: pathways for people seeking something different, so they can live the life they actually want.
