Family problems often start in the couple. Christen helps you name the pattern you keep repeating, see the difference between healthy and unhealthy relational dynamics, and decide what to do with that. She also supports couples moving through separation and divorce, and partners navigating personality conflict.

Using psychodynamic family therapy and narrative therapy, Christen works to uncover what is actually driving the conflict at home. The goal is a steady household where every member feels heard and understood, with deeper connection and more resilience when the next hard thing arrives.

Who it is for: Families in conflict, blended families, parents and adult children

Some conversations cannot be finished in fifty minutes. The extended session gives a couple or family room to work through a significant conflict, a disclosure, or a decision without watching the clock.

Who it is for: Couples and families working through a major issue

Children and teens get a space that is engaging rather than clinical, where they can express themselves and build real life skills. Christen works closely with parents so the same support shows up at home and at school. She has particular experience supporting parents of autistic children.

Who it is for: Children, adolescents, and their parents

Centered provides assessments and evaluations for childhood disorders including adjustment disorders, ADHD, conduct disorders and oppositional defiant disorder. The evaluation ends with a tailored treatment plan built with the family, not handed to them.
